Non-medical volunteer and professional supports to help fill gaps, helping seniors to stay in their homes in three area townships by providing information, rides to appointments, errands, light housekeeping, chores, friendly visits and reminders, service coordination, social activities and community involvement, brief respite and caregiver support.  Information and support for family members, caregivers, etc.  Health promotion / wellness and risk reduction activities for the community.

Bethesda Daybreak's purpose is to provide an alternative to long-term care for the elderly and handicapped adults in the community.  The program provides opportunities to socialize and take part in activities while providing a safe environment for its members.  Other services available are hair care, bathing, transportation and health monitoring.

Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital - Lori Petersen, Memory Care Coordinator -, 320.321.8268

CCMH is proud to offer a specialized Memory Care Clinic for the entire surrounding area.  Through standardized testing, our Memory Care Clinic team can provide a complete and objective evaluation of someone's memory and thinking skills.  The evaluation process takes about five hours over the course of two days.  Results and recommendations are shared, with ongoing support from the Memory Care Coordinator.

Person-centered non-medical service provided in our clients' homes.  Our assistance is uniquely designed to meet each client's needs.  Assistance with homemaker tasks, companionship, meal preparation, med reminders, respite for family members, transportation service to doctor visits and other errands, communication with family, bathing and grooming assistance and much more.  Caregiver / client personality matching and good communication is a strong focus for Compassionate Care.  We serve our clients from one hour to 24/7 and provide on-call service for non-scheduled appointments.

Compassionate Cottages are two residential homes with nine private bedroom and bathroom suites in Cottage I and ten private suites in Cottage II.  Our well-trained staff provide 24-hour awake services.  Some of the services include home-cooked meals, housekeeping, laundry, medication management, person-centered activities, Registered Nurse support 24/7 and so much more.  Compassionate Cottages offer individualized care in its unique setting of ten residents.  We focus on putting our residents first in everything we do.

LSS caregiver program offers non-medical respite by trained volunteers, monthly caregiver discussion groups and caregiver workshops.  We also offer caregiver counseling and caregiver coaching.  LSS connects caregivers to community resources and provides caregiver education.
